I came to Pilates in one of the hardest chapters of my life. While my late husband was unwell, I needed something that was mine. A space where I could breathe, move and simply be present.
What began as an outlet became a quiet source of strength, and in time, a calling. Pilates gave me back a sense of control when everything else felt uncertain.
I went on to train in the classical method through Romana's Pilates, the lineage passed directly from Joseph Pilates himself, so that I could offer others the same steadiness it gave me. Today I teach one to one, with patience, precision and a deep belief that movement can carry us through anything.
No rows of machines. No crowded timetable. Just a calm, private studio and my full attention.
Every session is one to one, unhurried and shaped entirely around you, your body, your history and the way you want to feel. It is warm, quiet and completely yours for the hour. Come exactly as you are.
In ten sessions you will feel the difference, in twenty you will see the difference, and in thirty you will have a whole new body.
Joseph Pilates
Joseph Pilates called his method Contrology, the complete coordination of body, mind and spirit. Every session is built on that idea. We work with control, breath and precision rather than force, training the body as one connected whole so that strength you build on the apparatus becomes strength you carry through daily life.
The classical method follows the order and apparatus Joseph Pilates created, taught the way Romana Kryzanowska preserved it. Nothing is rushed. Each exercise prepares you for the next, building a body that is strong, supple and beautifully balanced.
